Munnar, Kochi and Thekkady Tour Itinerary

Day 1. Kochi

On arrival at Kochi Airport / Railway Station you are met and transferred to Kochi, an obscure fishing village that became the first European township in India, Kochi was shaped by the Portuguese, Dutch and later British. The result of these cultural influences is seen in the many examples of Indo-European architectures that still exist here. A city of peninsulas and islands, today it is Kerala's commercial hub. Check in at Hotel. Later, sightseeing at Kochi, Including Chinese fishing nets, Mattancherry Palace and the old quarter. Overnight stay at Hotel.

 Day 2. Kochi – Munnar

After breakfast, proceed to Munnar. Munnar is a beautiful hill station covered with unending expanse of tea plantations, at an altitude ranging from 1600 to 1800 m above the sea level. This hill station was the favorite summer resort of European settlers for centuries. Sprawling tea plantations, picturesque towns, winding lanes and holiday facilities make this a popular resort town. Check in at Hotel Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 3. Munnar

 Breakfast at hotel. Later you are escorted for a sightseeing of Munnar covering Mattupetty Dam, Echo point, Tea museum and the Munnar town. Walk through the Hills kissing the clouds, breathing the sweet smell of Tea. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 4. Munnar – Thekkady

 After breakfast depart for Periyar. The sanctuary is an established tourist spot and home to elephants, tiger, bison, sambar, wild boar, langur etc.The artificial lake formed by the Mullaperiyar dam across the Periyar Lake adds to the charm of the park. Check in at Hotel. Later, go for a spice plantation visit where you can touch, smell and taste almost all the spices seen worldwide. Evening go for a boat safari inside the sanctuary to explore the wild life or a guided nature walk inside the sanctuary along with the naturalist. Over night at Hotel.

 

Day 5. Thekkady – Kochi airport/Railway Station

Departure to Kochi. Tour Concludes.

·         Flight Tickets or Visa is not included in above cost

·         GST will be applicable extra as per Govt. regulations

·         RT PCR if applicable is not included

·         Any Kind of Travel or Health Insurance is not included in mentioned cost.

·         Guide is not included in above package.

·         All personal expenses like tips, Portage, laundry, telephone calls/fax, alcoholic beverages, camera/video camera fees at monuments, entrances fees, medical expenses, airport departure tax etc.

·         Cost incidental to any change in the itinerary/stay on an account of flight cancellation due to bad weather, ill health, and roadblocks and/or any factors beyond control.

·         For any unutilized service no refund will be provided

·         Sightseeing as per the itinerary. Vehicle not at disposal basis.

·         Services of vehicle on leisure days

·         Tips, insurance, laundry, phone calls

·         Any kind of drinks (alcoholic, mineral, aerated)

·         Guide fee, camera fee

·         Anything not specifically mentioned under the head “package includes”.

·         Any Tips to Driver & Guide

 

Payments Terms

·         Any future tax levies will be charged extra.

·         The itinerary can be altered at any point of time due to bad weather, ill health, roadblocks and/or any factors beyond our control.

·         Vehicle provided will be as per the itinerary and not at disposal

·         If a vehicle is used for shopping, visiting markets and restaurants then there will be extra charges.

·         No refund on any unused services

·         Any modifications and extras will be charged in cash.

·         Guest needs to carry Vaccination certificate for both doses / or RT PCR Negative Report not issued before 72 Hours of Arrival.

·         Rooms will be subject to availability at time of booking, please note we are not holding any rooms until this stage. Room confirmation can only be guaranteed once we receive final written confirmation from the hotel.

·         Rates are Subject to change at time of confirmation

·         Given quote is valid for only 24hrs only from the date of quotation

·         Rates are applicable only for Indian nationals

·         RT PCR:

·         If Pax are fully vaccinated RT PCR is not required

·         If Pax are not Vaccinated then RT PCR while arriving / Departing to Port Blair is Mandatory (Same is subject to Andaman Govt Rule)

·         100% payment is to be made for packages at the time of making booking.

·         Within 60 days of departure :100% of total cost

·         Before 60 days INR 6000 will be charged
